At the same time you are only a short walk away from the city centre, and can be in the thick of things very quickly if you decide you’ve had enough peace and quiet and would like to do some partying!

All in all we can’t recommend Tom’s House Hotel enough, and short of a very special occasion (e.g. honeymoon, business meeting) we feel it is one of if not the best hotel in Hanoi!
