A feature movie affords a venue to relax by transporting an individual from the bitter world of reality to a realm of fantasy where anxieties and worries take a back seat.

Movies have gained popularity worldwide and have become a mega business. Hollywood – the hub of the US film industry – has churned out some of the most memorable movies of all time and is still producing films that catch the imagination of a global community. A movie can be viewed in a traditional theater, on television or by renting a DVD.

These days, computers have increased options for movie lovers. Hundreds of movies produced in Hollywood and in major film industries are available on the internet. To access these films online, simple procedures have to be followed. They involve a process that in technical terms is referred to as “”movie downloading.”"

Downloading films from a computer is possible with the help of software programs that are specifically created for this purpose. More and more people are using the option of downloading films from the internet onto their computers.

One thing to remember when looking for “movie” downloads” is that, on the Internet, the word “movie” refers to not just to a feature movie, but any moving or animated computer file. It can refer to a short Internet television piece, a news report, even a commercial or just a whimsical cartoon for a quick laugh. So if you are looking for a feature movie, be sure to specify the word “feature” or at least the title of the film you are looking for.

Movie Downloads provides detailed information on Movie Downloads, Free Movie Downloads, Movie Player Downloads, Unlimited Movie Downloads and more. Movie Downloads is affiliated with Free Movie Player Downloads.

Most have become convinced the basic ingredient of a great
site is practical and useful content that potential visitors are
looking for. (Those not yet convinced, will not succeed until
they embrace and implement this fundamental.)

But at the word, “content,” many roll their eyes upward in
despair, for they feel their writing skills are not sufficient.
While this may be true, there are ways to improve them. For
openers, click Topics in the navigation bar on my site, select
Writing Skills, then dig in.

Great Content Versus Great Writing

You do not need to be a Pulitzer-type writer to produce solid
site content. Those who disagree, are generally good writers.
Thus they tend to believe great site content is great prose.
This is stuff and nonsense.

True, the easiest and most straightforward way to build great
content is to create quality prose. But it’s far from being the
only way. For example, a site loaded with “how to” information
will do fine, provided enough people want what is offered. And
in writing this kind of content, the focus is on clear
explanation, not grammar. Here’s another example.

An Aside About Fishing

My fishing experience amounts to having been with some
fellows upon three occasions who were doing so. All I remember
about the ocean trip is being seasick. Another time I walked the
perimeter of a small lake twice with a neat fellow more
interested in walking than fishing. The only pro I’ve met was
a fellow with a fly rod. He caught his limit in minimal time
in a stream rod & reel types claimed was “fished out.” This
makes me uniquely qualified to define a site of great interest
to fisherman. <g> What follows is all made up. Any resemblance
to truth about fishing is pure coincidence.

Let’s Go Fishing

Bill, who owns FishNow.Com, got a call from Phil, made some
notes, and immediately wrote the following, sent it out in his
newsletter, and posted it on his site.

“Bill here, with a neat update from Phil Randal who just
called. (You probably remember him from our Caught ‘Em
forum. He knows what he’s about.)

Just now he’s at Triangle lake. It’s great country and
even better fishing. It’s about 20 miles east of
Kramer’s Junction on Hy 145. To get there, take the dirt
road that starts behind Kelly’s Feedstore. Takes maybe
40 minutes, and you don’t need four-wheel. (Click here
for a map you can print. I’ve marked the route.)”

An Aside: The map is a GIF copy of an actual map on which
Bill has sketched the route. Throughout he’s added text like,
“Stream here; drive right through it.” And below the map is a
link.

“If you’re short of time, check with the Travel Desk.
They’ll arrange to pick you up and put you beside Triangle lake
in quick time. And the rates are the best I’ve seen.”

“They’ve got a room at the lodge at Rising Creek come
tomorrow if you want. And a cabin this weekend. You can
get from there to Triangle on horseback in about four hours.
Or Jake can run you up in his Land Rover in about an hour and
a half. Fact is, fishings pretty good in Rising Creek just
now.”

Back To The Message

“Now get this. Phil says he’s catching his limit every
day in less than two hours. And they aren’t minnows,
either. He’s got one he wants measured. Thinks he’s
got a record. Whatever, it’s got size. Those who know
Phil, know he doesn’t lie.

But here’s the best part. The other guys aren’t catching
diddle. They’re all over him asking what he’s doing they
aren’t. Again, if you know Phil, he’s not saying. <g>
But here’s what he told me.

He’s using a BlueLine lure. He tried a FlatFish and did
pretty good, but he swears the BlueLine is the trick here.
If you’ve got the time, get on up to Triangle and let me
know how you make out. Click here for info on a BlueLine
lure. Click here for the FlatFish.”

An Aside

Each of the above links is to a page picturing the lure in
detail. There’s a link below to a page that shows you how to
make one. And, of course, another that lets you buy one from
Bill.

And There’s More.

In a PS, Bill added, “Just now, the week’s forecast looks
awfully good. Click here for the latest.” Take this link, and
you have a long term forecast for the weather at Triangle lake.

And More

Triangle is not the only lake Bill follows. And he has this
kind of info on all of them. And about the local streams.
Further, he’ll be happy to sell you a great fishing rod, wading
boots, cooking gear, even camping stuff.

About That Fellow In New York

James Bartell faces yet another major business crisis. But
reading Bill’s newsletter gives him a thought. He calls to his
secretary, “Will you get Joe and Pete in here, please?” Grabbing
for the phone, he mumbles, “If they can’t handle this, I’ll find
somebody who can.” Half way through the sentence, the phone is
ringing at Travel Desk.

Bartell Is Not Alone

Many people who bust it day in and day out are quite willing,
now and then, to cut loose for a few days. Bill offers one great
way to do it. He gets a commission from Travel Desk. And from
the local lodges he refers to. If he chooses to do so, he is
in a great position to buy a lodge, thus extending his online
business offline. If he targets upscale fisherman like Bartell,
such a move could be enormously profitable.

End Tale

Okay, so that’s just a yarn. And hey, likely someone already
has something like it going. But it’s bound to be local, else
one can’t keep up. Find a local area *not* being covered, one
easy to get to, and go for it. The task is simpler if you
already know something of the area. But if you love fishing,
you can have a lot of fun learning whatever you need.

So Where’s The Content?

Measured in total words, there is very little content on this
hypothetical site. But in the eyes of a devoted fisherman, it’s
loaded with the stuff. Bill needs some good text content for
search engine positioning, but that’s another matter.

What’s Bill Really Selling?

Will anybody visiting this site see it for what it really
is? Have you figured it?

What is readily available is great info that matters to
fisherman. Behind this, Bill offers everything you need to get
to a great fishing spot, catch your limit, and be comfortable
while doing so. His visitors will not see this as a trick or
con. They may not even recognize the site is a selling tool.
Products offered will be seen simply as an additional service
Bill provides.

A Catch

This is not the greatest example, for it’s seasonal. You’d
have to do very well in order to take the rest of the year off.
But it’s a possibility. If you owned a lodge, you might pick
up some off-season business from skiers and hunters.

But I Don’t Like Fishing

Is that what I heard you say? If so, join the club. I don’t
either. But the idea works in many areas and differing products.
Competition is fierce in the travel business. But how about a
site featuring weekend adventures for families or seniors or
both? House plans might work well with how-tos about remodeling
and interior design.

Home gardeners are a committed bunch. And there’s lots of
potential here for repeat business. Anything people love to do
that requires resources you can provide is a possible target.

Each must be checked with care. Competition needs to be
examined in depth. And you must find a niche that sets you above
or apart from all of it. But given a defined position and a good
business plan, you have the basis for a successful online
business.

Wrapping Up

There are several errors in Bill’s prose. Did you notice
them? If so, will they matter to a fellow who wants to catch
some fish? Or will he just grab his keys or the phone?

Web cams have changed amateur astrophotography profoundly. You
can now have a CCD for a fraction of the cost. Web cams can take awesome planetary and lunar astrophotos right out of the box. You can use the capture software that comes with the cam for capturing your shots and then use freeware to process the results. Can’t get much cheaper than that. Of course for better results it is you should use specialized software, but that is available on the cheap as well.

And if you are a do-it-yourselfer, web cams can also be adapted to take long exposure astrophotos, pretty cool right? Plus there are ready to go, web cam based planetary imagers now available from Celestron, Meade and, Orion. Meade and Orion also have imagers for long exposure, deep-sky imaging. All these include software. They are however more expensive.

If you already have a web cam great, you only need some software which can be downloaded for free, and an adaptor to connect the web cam to your telescope. If you don’t own one the following cams have proven to be good for astrophotography and good deals can be found on eBay for example.

-ToUcam Pro by Philips PCVC740K or PCVC840K ToUcam PRO II. I have both of these. I am leaving the new one as a dedicated planetary imager and adapting the PCV740K for long exposure astrophotography.

-Vesta pro also by Philips. I haven’t personally used this web cam but others have with great success. It can also be adapted for long exposures.

-Quickcam pro by Logitech. I used to have one of these, but I prefer the ToUcam. It does a good job though and can also be modified for long exposures.

-There are other web cams which are good for astrophotography but these three are the only ones I have experience with.

Now for the adaptor to connect the web cam to your telescope. I use a Mogg adaptor, made by, surprise Mr. Steve Mogg. More information and purchasing can be found at: http://webcaddy.com.au/astro/adapter.htm
For either ToUcam you will want the UWAT-F, for the Vesta Pro the UWAS-F, and for the Quickcam Pro the UWAL-F. He has adaptors for other astrophotography web cams as well.

Next you will need some software to make this all work. Good news it won’t cost you a single penny. First you will need some capture software. K3CCDTools version 1 is absolutely free. It works very well to capture astrophotos with web cams. I use version 3 which costs $45.00 because I use some of the other features it offers but you won’t need that for basic planetary work (yet). You can download it at: http://www.pk3.org/Astro/index.htm?k3ccdtools_download.htm.

To get really nice detail in your shots you will need to combine(stack) multiple images. A really nice piece of software is called RegiStax. It is also freeware. You can download a copy at:

“Don’t knock it until you’ve tried it.” That’s what I told a political opponent’s campaign manager when he laughed at me for using cable access television as part of my communications strategy. Unfortunately for him, he would learn too late what I already knew — that implementing this medium into any communications strategy (political or otherwise) is a pretty good idea, and can reap tremendous benefits.

A few years ago, I took a break from public relations to work on my first local city council race. The candidate was actually my older brother, a person very active in his community but felt it was time to do more in the realm of public service. So he decided to run for office.

From the beginning we both knew that one of the biggest problems he would face, as a first-time candidate, would be how to gain name recognition. One of the ways in which we planned to circumvent the problem was by integrating the use of cable-access television into our communications strategy.

Yes, cable-access television! I know it sounds strange, and the old Wayne’s World skits from Saturday Night Live must certainly come to mind. In fact, most small-business owners do chuckle at the mere mention of the medium, but what they often don’t realize is that many of the same media strategies used in political campaigns can and are regularly implemented to promote small-business owners and their company services. Here’s what you should know in order to take full advantage of this often under-used medium.

Respect Cable Access Hosts as Potential Customers

Sure, many cable access hosts are just ordinary citizens who want an outlet for expressing their views, but many of them also have prominent professional careers. No matter what their backgrounds happen to be, don’t they also represent potential customers? You bet, and by appearing on their shows, you get a chance to describe your business in plain speech, talk directly to your customers and also practice doing interviews.

Contact Cable Access Hosts Early

Each cable outlet is different but most only allow hosts to produce a limited amount of shows so that everyone gets an equal chance at exposure. But, did you know that you can also use this information to prevent your competitor from appearing on future shows? Here’s an example of how we did it.

During the campaign I was able to book my candidate on five of the eight available shows devoted to political issues. By the time our opponent’s campaign manager discovered our plan, it was too late to get a booking because the production schedule had ended for the quarter — a mere 60 days before the election. The cable access shows really served as an electronic billboard for us, allowing our candidate to appear on television twice per day on each access station for two solid months. Potential voters saw our candidate 112 times on television, which made him quite recognizable on the street.

Consider the Cable Access Host a Member of the Media

Research each show’s topic to make sure you and your company’s services offer the proper fit, and then pitch story ideas. Follow up with them regularly and prove that you are a great expert to have on the show. Provide the hosts with media kits, adhere to their deadlines, answer their questions immediately, and take the time to find out how they would like to be contacted. These are all the normal steps you’d take with any other journalist.

We lost the election, but the use of cable-access television helped to keep the race close until the very end. More importantly, well-established political incumbents began to take notice at what we had achieved. Appearing on cable-access television was no longer taboo, and many of them now have their own shows. They now see the value in using cable-access television to get their messages out to their constituents — a communications medium that has always been available to them for free.

The bottom line here is this. There really aren’t very many differences between promoting a small-business owner and a political candidate. Each can achieve favorable results simply by properly executing their messages. And while it is true that we are a nation of channel flippers, most people will and do stop — on occasion, to listen to guests on cable-access television. Furthermore, you’d be surprised by just how many of them do act on what they have seen.

So don’t get angry the next time a business competitor laughs at you for appearing on cable access television to promote your services. Just tell them the same thing I did, and take comfort in knowing that your competitor will likely learn too late that cable-access television can be an excellent way of introducing small-business services to potential customers in your town.

Sometime ago, I came across a poster with the picture of the legendary boxer Mohammed Ali having a caption IMPOSSIBLE IS NOTHING. Little did I know at that moment that the caption was going to cause a revolution in me.

At about 2am I was jolted from sleep, and the first flash that came to me was the caption on that poster I had seen in the afternoon – IMPOSSIBLE IS NOTHING. I became restless, and started to work on a book. Since that day till now, the caption has become my motto.

I was watching Newsline on the NTA and the story of a young man was brought forward. Interestingly, he happened to fit perfectly into that caption that had already become my motto.
He became blind when he was 9 months old after a brief illness, but he refused to allow the blindness to limit him. He was later trained as a vulcanizer. In the cause of the interview with the reporter, a perfect blind man was shown mending car tyres without assistance from anyone.
I was indeed overwhelmed by this rare feat.

Here is a vocation that is difficult for able bodied men being done with dexterity by a blind man. Had I not watched it, it would have been difficult for me to believe. I did watch him jack a tyre, separate the rim from it to remove the tube so he could mend it.
Afterwards, he made his way to his pumping machine which he skillfully put on. I was thrown aback by a blind man doing that. He claimed he repairs his machine himself; that he do remove the plug and service it all alone.
Later he was shown in another office of his, where he operates a Video recording Studio. Really IMPOSSIBLE IS NOTHING! This man mesmerized impossibility.

I don’t know what looks impossible to you, but I believe impossibility does not really exist. I concur with Robert Schuler who cut-off ‘impossible’ from his dictionary. No wonder the Bible says: “to him that believes all things are possible.” It may not be easy; in fact, it may be difficult, but it is possible! I believe you can pass that exam. I believe you can enjoy your family life once again.

Yes, I believe that sickness called terminal can be terminated. Your business would come alive once again, because all things are possible. That job is yours notwithstanding the rejections you have experienced. IMPOSSIBLE IS NOTHING. You will make it!
It was said that Thomas Edison conducted 6,000 experiments to get the incandescent bulb you are enjoying now. Impossible is Nothing. You can still become a graduate even though you are married. Yes, you can still prosper in that business though you have lost money.

Your product can become number one in the market. You can be promoted. Your salary can be increased. You can still carry your baby notwithstanding the doctor’s report. IMPOSSIBLE IS NOTHING
The Sky is your foot mat!
See you at the top.

THE MIRACLE IN THE IRON Iron is one of the elements highlighted in the Qur’an. In Sura Hadid, meaning Iron, we are informed: …And We sent down iron in which there lies great force and which has many uses for mankind…. (The Qur’an, 57:25) The word “sent down,” particularly used for iron in the verse, could be thought of having a metaphorical meaning to explain that iron has been given to benefit people. But when we take into consideration the literal meaning of the word, which is, “being physically sent down from the sky”, we realize that this verse implies a very significant scientific miracle. This is because modern astronomical findings have disclosed that the iron found in our world has come from the giant stars in outer space. The heavy metals in the universe are produced in the nuclei of big stars. Our solar system, however, does not possess a suitable structure for producing iron on its own. Iron can only be produced in much bigger stars than the Sun, where the temperature reaches a few hundred million degrees. When the amount of iron exceeds a certain level in a star, the star can no longer accommodate it, and eventually it explodes in what is called a “nova” or a “supernova”. As a result of this explosion, meteors containing iron are scattered around the universe, and they move through the void until attracted by the gravitational force of a celestial body. All this shows that iron did not form on the Earth, but was carried from exploding stars in space via meteors, and was “sent down to earth”, in exactly the same way as stated in the verse: It is clear that this fact could not have been scientifically known in the 7th century, when the Qur’an was revealed.

THE PAIRS IN CREATION Glory be to Him Who created all the pairs: from what the earth produces and from themselves and from things unknown to them. (The Qur’an, 36:36) Although the concept of ”pair” or “couple” commonly stands for male and female, the statement of ”from things unknown to them” has wider implications. Today, one of the implications of the verse has been revealed. The British scientist Paul Dirac, who proposed that matter is created in pairs, was awarded the Nobel Prize for physics in 1933. This discovery, called ”parité”, maintains that matter is paired with its opposite: anti-matter. Anti-matter carries the opposite properties to matter. For instance, as opposed to matter, the electron of anti-matter is positively charged and its protons are negatively charged. This fact is stated in a scientific source in this way: …every particle has its antiparticle of opposite charge… …and the uncertainty relation tells us that pair creation and pair annihilation happen in the vacuum at all times, in all places.8

Tree hugging is a thing of the past. It is not just about the trees anymore. It is about the air, the ocean, the earth, the ozone, the future. There are new concerns about the environment every day; it is a crisis unlike any other. You must care about the conditions under which the future generations will have to live, you must care about every aspect of the environment on the planet of which we live, and most importantly, you must care about fixing the problems that have already been created instead of simply making “Band-Aid” (Nering 352) solutions for these potential disasters.

However, this is coming from the heart and soul of a former six-year-old who aspired to save the planet and all of Her resources. A six-year-old who marched around the park next to her house on Earth Day alone with a homemade sign protesting pollution until the sun went down, and who is now witnessing the destruction of our planet by none other than those who claim to be working for the future of the world. It is a heart breaking experience. Now with the mind and body of an eighteen-year-old, and more conscious about the way global politics work, this environmentalist’s dream is rapidly becoming a universal nightmare. The need for environmental salvation is even more evident now, twelve years later, as new policies and bills are being proposed everyday to tap into the indispensable resources of the planet. The future of the planet resides in our hands.

We were once the future generation of the world, now we are the next generation. We will have to combat different obstacles than our parents did, and their parents did, ones that they did not dream of facing in their lifetime but threaten our well-being. The decisions of one generation impact the future generations. Do you want our children and grandchildren to play in fresh air playground, or toxic waste dumps? The future generations will pay monetarily for the mistakes that are made today as is already occurring with this generation. The increase in oil prices has skyrocketed, with prices as high as “56 bucks a barrel” (Stout). They will also pay in ways we cannot possibly comprehend at this point in time. Every action or inaction that we take in this generation will affect positively or negatively on the welfare of future generations. With a raise in air temperature, due to the increasingly gaping hole in the ozone layer, fertile land will begin to disappear, which will be the cause of the decrease in the cultivation of crops, and therefore create famine. So, how do we completely prevent such tragedies from occurring? At this stage in the world’s history, it is impossible to know. However, there are ways to diminish our affects on the planet as a whole, especially when it comes to the emissions of CO2 into the atmosphere and halt the expansion of this hole. If the human race continues at this rate of consumption of natural resources, and emission of pollution, we will kill the planet and any chance of a future for Her.

Bill McKibben, the author of The Environmental Issue from Hell, raises interesting points about the demise of our planet regarding her ability to maintain equilibrium. He expresses the validity of the argument that if we do not take care of the planet now, it will not be here for us to live on for very much longer. The deterioration of the planet at this rate will result in the unfathomable costs of our most prized natural wonders. The consequence of global warming will also come into fruition with the annihilation of marine life. The raise in oceanic temperatures will eradicate coral reef life by mid-century (McKibben 324), and also has begun to take its toll on Arctic animals, such as polar bears, who are “twenty percent scrawnier than they were a decade ago” (324) because there is an elimination of their food source due to the reduction of seals in the area. Seals are leaving the area because the warmer air temperatures is causing the ice to melt and ridding them of habitable space. “All in all, the 21st century seems poised to see extinctions at a rate not observed since the last big asteroid slammed into the planet. But this time the asteroid is us” (325). The depletion of natural forests, by deforestation, will also result in the drastic reduction of species by extinction, and eventually entire ecosystems. In this instance we are consciously exterminating entire species with a single order of lumber.

Another tragedy, as a result of global warming, is occurring that is affecting the human race, and not only the animal kingdom. With the widening of the hole in the ozone layer, which protects our planet from harmful rays of the sun, the heating of the surface of the earth is causing the polar icecaps to melt. This increase of water raises the water levels and floods the land. One such area is Bangladesh, in the Bay of Bengal, when in 1998 the floods from the Ganges and the Brahmaputra rivers were so great that the rice crop cannot be planted (324). As McKibben points out, this disaster could potentially create a nation-wide famine, which would pose a problem for the entire international community. “Global warming is a moral crisis, too, if you place any value on the rest of creation” (324).
What are humans doing to cause these self-imposed catastrophes? The answer lies in excessive consumption. Major industrialized nations cause most of the problems for the rest of the world. CO2 emissions from unnecessary entities, such as SUVs, cause the general populace to view pollution as an expected downside to their expected lifestyles. A

t the rate that humans are expending the planet’s oil reserves, the estimated period of time left before the oil wells run dry “is considerably less than 100 years” (Nering 352). The supply of oil in the world is not growing; it is a “mirage” (351) as the author of The Mirage of a Growing Fuel Supply, Evar D. Nering, explains. “Calculations also show that if consumption of an energy resource is allowed to grow at a steady 5 percent annual rate, a full doubling of the available supply will not be as effective as reducing that growth rate by halfto 2.5 percent” (352). Halving our consumption of oil may seem like an unrealistic goal, but taking many smaller steps towards the reduction of our usage will eventually lead to a beneficial impact on the planet. Nering goes on to say that “Reducing the growth of consumption means living closer to where we work or play. It means telecommuting. It means controlling population growth. It means shifting to renewable energy sources” (352). The solution to the earth’s salvation is not in discovering more oil wells because this is only a short-term solution, or a “Band Aid” (352), but rather in discovering renewable resources that can benefit the planet and future generations. These poignant remarks explain in terms of statistics and logic where we stand in terms of solutions for the betterment of our planet.

However, there are many who would rather view the current circumstances as otherwise, such as the current American senators who are aiming at uncovering a miracle well in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge. This proposal to drill is contrary to the solution for the survival of our planet, but appears to be a lucrative business proposition for those involved.

Drilling into the land of the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge would mean degrading the sentimental value that it holds to so many people of not solely the United States, but of the world. Jack Kelly, a reputable writer from Hawaii, weighs the losses and the gains of drilling in the Arctic in his article The Arctic Refuge; The Last Frontier. It is home to diverse ecosystems, breeding grounds for many species, and is altogether a gorgeous expanse of natural beauty. “Imagine multicolored fields of wildflowers as far as the eye can see beneath a backdrop of mountain peaks, under a sky so brilliantly blue it seems almost unreal. Melting snow feeds immense rivers that race down the mountain slopes and then quietly spread out on the coastal plain, eventually making their way to the sea” (Kelly 1).

Now imagine this scene with oil rigs, and disruptive piping; not as aesthetically beautiful. Allowing for the drilling in this area would not necessarily mean an endless supply of “Texas Tea” either, but more along the estimation of a “six months’ use in the United States” as determined by the U.S. Geological Survey (Kelly 1). The senators who are in favor of this bill are also claiming that since there is success in Alaska already in the Prudhoe Bay Area, there will be success elsewhere (Kelly 2). It is a contortion of facts by certain senators, and is creating a debate among the Senate. Specifically the two senators from Hawai’i are surprisingly endorsing this bill, though it will impede heavily on the nature of the Arctic and its wildlife, which the Senators Daniel Akaka and Daniel Inouye from Hawai’i, have always fought for in the past. It is tactics by legislators, such as this, that endorse the continual consumption of the natural resources of the planet, rather than supporting the scientific research needed to discover renewable energy. Though there may be successful drilling in the Prudhoe Bay Area, “the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) has determined what might produce enough oil for six months’ use in the United States” (Kelly 1). The reason this oil would only last six months is because of the rapid rate of consumption that the United States currently employs, which corroborates Nering’s proposition of the necessity to halve the consumption rate of Americans. The Hawaiian Senators are typically environmental activists, but were persuaded to vote in favor of the bill. Their decision was crucial to the splitting of the votes, and will lead to the eventual drilling in the arctic.

Drilling in the Arctic National Reserves and global warming are only two examples of the ominous deterioration of the planet and Her reserves. If drastic measures are not taken immediately then the demise of the planet will be on our shoulders. The danger to our planet caused by humanity’s current ignorance will weigh heavily on the future generations. It is imperative that our course of action as responsible human beings be to save the planet. There is a looming necessity to change our actions to become more environmentally sound, and to save our planet from destruction. We must reconsider what our true impact on the earth is and how we can alter our actions, instead of simply waiting until it’s a problem for the next generation.

Having written this article as a Freshman at the University of Richmond, I am now a rising Sophomore and looking to continue my studies in Spanish and Business next year. This article is very important to me in that the topic is one that I have cared about my entire life and have struggled with getting other people to understand my passion about the environment. I believe it is very important to voice your opinion about topics that concern us, and that is why I wrote and researched this article.
